There are many other ways to look at this little question scene. Most obviously, we can focus on Sabrina's expression as soon as she hears the question, illustrating meaningful nonverbal communication. We will look into this aspect with another hot potato later in this series.

There are no extraordinary problems posed by real English in this case. The problem is that she speaks at normal speed, which seems fast to most students. Sabrina represents Standard American English.
